Afimilk Readers Malfunctions Report

Afimilk Readers consistently collect data from the tags. AfiFarm uses this data to calculate heat and health alerts for the cows monitored. Losing data due to faults with the Afimilk Reader may lead to delayed alerts of critical cow incidents.

Since the other fault alerting tool of AfiFarm -– the Site Faults module - only displays active alerts for occasional Afimilk Reader faults, use the report described below to view a recent history of Afimilk Reader faults.

Red - Indicates a fault in the most recently ended session.

Green - Indicates no faults occurred.

Note: Afimilk Reader alerts are calculated three times a day: at midnight; 08:00; and 16:00.
Note: A Reader Fault alert may be triggered if large numbers of cows were moved from the pen to another location

The upper table in the report lists the following alerts for the Reader devices:

Lower detailed report: Click a row in the top table to display detailed calculations for the last six calculation times, for the selected Afimilk Reader. Faults consistent across multiple sessions require inspection by a trained Afimilk technician.
